Growing With Baby was founded on the belief that breastfeeding is the best feeding choice a parent can make. We are dedicated to ensuring that every parent and educator has access to educational materials that are accurate, up-to-date, and affordable. In our pages, you will find many excellent educational materials that will help women succeed at breastfeeding.

About the authors of our educational materials:

Andrea Herron is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has been working with children and families since 1968. She is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. She has a Master's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in newborn and infant feeding disorders and infant development. She is on the UCLA Extension faculty and teaches in the Lactation Educator and Consultant Programs. Andrea has had a solo practice specializing in parenting and lactation since 1982.

Elsa Weber is a Health Education Specialist with a Master’s Degree in Public Health Education. She has developed, field tested and implemented hundreds of curricula, pamphlets, booklets and educational programs. She has worked extensively with the lay public field testing health related information and rewriting the information so that it is easier for the targeted audiences to read and understand.

The authors are sisters and best friends who have combined their expertise and talents to develop the many products offered by Growing With Baby.

The Growing With Baby office is located in a lovely 100 year old victorian style house on the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo.
